Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Workshop Technician in Sutton Coldfield with progression to Field Service Engineer. The role combines workshop duties with field work across client sites and requires some travel, including overnight stays.

Salary is £30,000-£35,000 plus benefits and advancement opportunities within a global group. You will start with training to assemble and test products, then transition to field duties four days a week, with Fridays in the workshop for administration.

Qualifications

• Experience in a workshop or mechanical role.
• Willingness to travel to client sites and stay away overnight if required.
• Commutable to Sutton Coldfield and able to work on site and in the field.

Responsibilities

• Attend client sites to repair, maintain and calibrate stun guns.
• Train customers on how to use products safely and efficiently.
• Field based Monday-Thursday (07:30-16:00), Friday in the workshop for admin (07:30-12:30).
• Overnight stays may be required to support clients.
