Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Service Engineer (Workshop/Field Based) in Plymouth. You will receive training on specialist machinery, and work with blue-chip clients while enjoying door-to-door pay and opportunities to travel nationally and overseas.

Half of the time is workshop-based, with the remainder spent visiting customer sites to install, commission, service and fault-find on sophisticated manufacturing equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical engineering per the role description.
• Willingness to travel nationally and overseas.
• Background suitable for commissioning, servicing and fault finding on specialist machinery.

Responsibilities

• Installing, commissioning and maintaining specialist machinery.
• Carrying out servicing and fault finding on equipment.
• Travelling to client sites nationally and overseas (50% workshop, 50% field).
