Job summary

Archer UK is seeking a Workshop Technician to join the Archer Well Services team in Altens, Aberdeen. Based in Altens, you will assemble, service and maintain Surface Solutions equipment in the workshop on a full-time, permanent basis.

Duties include assisting workshop supervisor with HSE and housekeeping, supporting loadouts with onshore and offshore teams, and performing maintenance checks according to Archer procedures. Hydraulic, mechanical and electrical experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Technical qualification or apprenticeship is essential.
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
• Hydraulic and mechanical experience is essential; electrical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist workshop supervisor with a focus on HSE and housekeeping.
• Support loadouts/backloads with onshore and offshore teams.
• Complete tooling and surface equipment maintenance checklists per policies.
• Receive equipment backloads and follow maintenance manuals and bulletins.
• Assist in maintenance of pressure control equipment and testing in-house.
• Assist with readiness of Surface Solutions equipment for service.
• Own maintenance of equipment and highlight preventative maintenance improvements.
