Job summary

Archer UK currently has an exciting opportunity for a Workshop Technician to join the Archer Well Services team. The successful candidate will assemble, service and maintain Wireline equipment in the workshop.

You will be based in Altens, Aberdeen, and join on a full-time, permanent basis. Duty includes assisting workshop foreman with loadouts, performing PMs on downhole tooling, maintaining documentation, coordinating with logistics, and handling equipment testing and packing.

Qualifications

• Hands-on mechanical ability and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Wireline equipment and maintenance.
• Awareness of health, safety and environmental policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist workshop team with loadouts and backloads while following HSE practices.
• Service, repair and maintain Wireline equipment in the workshop.
• Coordinate with logistics for packing, loading and unloading shipping containers.
• Assist in certifications checks and ensure equipment documentation is up to date.
• Support rig-up, testing and functionality verification of equipment.
