Job description

Our client is a plant hire company seeking to expand their workshop technician team based at their yard in Redhill, Surrey.

Role Responsibilities:

1. Check in all returned hire equipment (ladders, goods only, chains, personnel hoists).
2. Clean equipment and conduct routine maintenance and repairs for upcoming hires.
3. Erect scaffolding systems.
4. Work with electrical equipment and interpret wiring diagrams.
5. Service and install hoists.

Requirements:

• Fundamental understanding and ability to work with mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Ideally, knowledge of materials handling mechanical/electrical systems.
• Ability to work on site from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm.
