Job summary

Enterprise Recruitment Limited is seeking a dedicated workshop operative to support day-to-day operations in a precision engineering facility. You will assist with housekeeping, material prep, and deliveries, ensuring safety and accuracy in handling CNC machinery and tools.

Ideal candidates will have a good appreciation for workshop safety, be willing to tackle varied tasks each day, and hold a clean driving licence.

• Willing to take on different tasks daily and assist where required.

Responsibilities

• Workshop housekeeping: safe operation and maintenance of CNC machinery and general works.
• Material prep: check against notes and ensure correct labelling.
• Finished goods: prepare goods for delivery and support inspections.
• Deliveries to and from customers/suppliers; ensure vehicle is safe and roadworthy.

The team are in need of a safe pair of hands to take on what is quite an important role in ensuring the fluid day-to-day operation and running of the workshop. Key responsibilities include…

1. Workshop housekeeping: safe operation, maintenance of the saws and general maintenance of CNC Machinery and general works
2. Material prep: check good against notes, ensure correct labelling etc
3. Finished goods: prepare goods for delivery and support on inspections
4. Deliveries to and from customers/suppliers: Ensuring car is clean, safe, legal & mechanically sound.

What are we looking for?

• Knowledge of engineering workshop environments and the required appreciate for safety, tidiness and organization
• Willing and able to take on different tasks every day and assist where required
• Require a clean driving license
