Job summary

Enterprise Recruitment Ltd is seeking a hands-on workshop operator to join an established business with over 25 years of experience providing high-precision equipment to aerospace, nuclear, energy and scientific clients. The role focuses on keeping the workshop running safely and efficiently and involves housekeeping, material prep, finishing goods, and arranging deliveries.

You will need a clear driving license and a practical approach to varied daily tasks, with a strong emphasis on safety,

Qualifications

• Knowledge of engineering workshop environments and the required appreciation for safety, tidiness and organization.
• Willing and able to take on different tasks every day and assist where required.
• Require a clean driving license.

Responsibilities

• Workshop housekeeping: safe operation, maintenance of the saws and general maintenance of CNC Machinery and general works
• Material prep: check good against notes, ensure correct labelling etc
• Finished goods: prepare goods for delivery and support on inspections
• Deliveries to and from customers/suppliers: Ensuring car is clean, safe, legal & mechanically sound.

The team are in need of a safe pair of hands to take on what is quite an important role in ensuring the fluid day-to-day operation and running of the workshop. Key responsibilities include…
