Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking a hands-on workshop supervisor in London with experience in structural steel and architectural metalwork. Responsibilities include managing daily operations of the workshop and liaising with the workshop manager. Capable welding skills and experience with stainless steel and aluminium are advantageous. This is a permanent position, but flexible contracts can be arranged.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in a structural steel / architectural metalwork environment.
• General experience of stainless steel and aluminium.

Responsibilities

• General day to day running of the workshop.
• Liaise with the workshop manager.

Skills

Welding (TIG or MIG)

• Capable of welding (tig or mig is very advantageous but not essential).
• General experience of stainless steel and aluminium.

Employment Type

This is a permanent position but the company is open to an ongoing contract position if that suits both parties better.
