Hours

Monday to Thursday - 7.45am to 4.00pm
Friday – 7.45am to 3.30pm

Our client design and make bespoke cabinetry. They started in 2018, the business has experienced rapid growth and has recently set up a new workshop facility to meet the increasing demand for their product.

The Job:
The role will entail helping oversee the production work flow within the workshop. Reporting to the Workshop Manager, you will be responsible for understanding what jobs are coming through the workshop and helping prioritising/delegating tasks amongst the team. This is predominantly a maker role so the majority of the time will be spent on the bench.
Having experience in kitchen fabrication or furniture making is a necessity. Our client deals with bespoke elements which require a level of technical know-how and skill – this is an area of their business that is currently growing rapidly.

• Staying on top of production detail and deadlines
• Ensuring Quality Control is met
• An understanding of woodwork/furniture production
• Machine experience (pressing laminates, edge banding, CNC) as well as keeping on top of machine servicing & maintenance
• An appreciation of contemporary design
• Workbench organisation and tidiness
• Good time management
