The role involves maintaining stock records and managing stock for ambulances and related vehicles, ensuring high vehicle availability. The position requires liaising with suppliers, managing inventory, and supporting digitalization efforts in the workshop.
The role offers an opportunity to work with a diverse range of vehicle parts, including electronic components, tail-lifts, and stretchers. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week, with the workshop operating 7 days a week on a rotational basis.
South Central Fleet Services Ltd is a subsidiary of South Central Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust, responsible for vehicle delivery and maintenance.
