Job summary

ScaleX™ Talent Solutions is recruiting an Engineering Stores Coordinator to own the workshop stores. You will oversee stock, parts and equipment, ensuring they are received, recorded and readily available for engineering and production teams.

The role requires experience in stores/inventory within an engineering or manufacturing setting, strong attention to detail and the ability to manage your own workload. A full UK driving licence is required.

ScaleX™ Talent Solutions are working with a growing engineering business to recruit an Engineering Stores Coordinator to take ownership of their workshop stores.

This is a varied role where you'll play an important part in keeping the workshop running smoothly — making sure stock, parts and equipment are received, recorded, organised and available when the engineering and production teams need them.

What you'll be doing:

• Receiving and checking incoming deliveries
• Managing stock levels and keeping inventory records accurate
• Organising the workshop stores and completing regular stock takes
• Working closely with Procurement, Engineering and Production
• Managing goods inwards, returns and associated paperwork
• Keeping track of workshop tooling, calibration and certification
• Safely loading, unloading and moving stock
• Keeping the stores organised, safe and running efficiently

What we're looking for:

You'll ideally have experience within stores, stock control, goods inwards or inventory, particularly within an engineering, manufacturing or production environment.

You'll be comfortable using computer-based systems, have good attention to detail and be confident managing your own workload.

Most importantly, we're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys being part of a team and isn't afraid to get stuck in when needed.

A full UK driving licence is required.
