Job summary

Nationwide Platforms Ltd. is seeking a proactive Workshop Service Engineer to join our depot team. You will inspect, repair and maintain powered access machines, undergoing full training where necessary and delivering high standards of service to customers.

The role requires a general engineering qualification (NVQ3+), and experience in diesel engineering, hydraulics and electrical diagnostics. Monday to Friday, with a salary starting from £30,000, plus benefits.

Qualifications

• NVQ level 3 or equivalent in maintenance/engineering.
• Experience in diesel engineering, auto electrics, hydraulics and fault diagnosis.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure with good customer service.

Responsibilities

• Carry out pre-delivery inspections (PDI) of machines at client premises and at depot, ensuring compliance with specifications and safety.
• Repair machines at depot or on site as required to meet specifications and policy.
• Perform planned maintenance to maintain fleet appearance and reliability.
• Handover machines to customers and explain safe operation per procedures.
• Provide high standard of customer care and relay queries to depot staff as needed.
• Complete all paperwork: engineer reports, off hire, service sheets, and inspections.
• Update system with status changes (PDI, repair, inspections).
