Job summary

NEOS Engineering is recruiting a Workshop Engineer to join their Norfolk/Mildenhall workshop team. You will service, maintain and repair a modern fleet of construction plant including excavators, telehandlers and rollers.

The role is hands-on and requires diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults, with ongoing training and development and overtime available.

Qualifications

• Experience on heavy plant or construction equipment.
• Strong mechanical fault-finding skills (mechanical/hydraulic/electrical).
• Experience with excavators, telehandlers, rollers or similar machinery.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy workshop environment.
• Health & safety awareness.

Responsibilities

Workshop Engineer – Norfolk / Mildenhall

£18.00 – £21.00 per hour + Overtime

NEOS Engineering are recruiting for an established construction machinery business looking to add an experienced Workshop Engineer to their engineering team based in the Norfolk / Mildenhall area.

This is a hands-on workshop role working on a modern fleet of excavators, telehandlers, rollers and associated construction plant.

The Role

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on construction plant.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults.

About You

We're looking for an experienced Workshop Engineer / Plant Fitter with a strong background working on construction machinery.

You’ll ideally have:

• Previous experience working on heavy plant or construction equipment.
• Strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical fault-finding skills.
• Experience with excavators, telehandlers, rollers or similar machinery.
• Ability to work efficiently within a busy workshop environment.
• Relevant plant engineering qualification is desirable but not essential.
• Good attention to detail and a strong approach to health & safety.

Package

• £18.00 – £21.00 per hour, depending on experience.
• Overtime available.
