Job summary

NEOS Engineering are recruiting for an established construction machinery business to join our field-based Mobile Plant Fitter team in Norfolk/Mildenhall. You will service, repair and maintain a modern fleet of excavators, telehandlers, rollers and related plant across Norfolk, Mildenhall and surrounding areas.

The role requires hands-on fault-finding on mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems, with the ability to work independently in the field and liaise with customers and the engineering

Qualifications

• Previous experience working on heavy plant or construction equipment.
• Strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical fault-finding skills.
• Experience with excavators, telehandlers, rollers or similar machinery.
• Ability to work independently in a field-based role.
• Relevant plant engineering qualification is desirable but not essential.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on construction plant.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults.
• Attend breakdowns and minimise machine downtime.
• Complete planned preventative maintenance and inspections.
• Maintain accurate service and repair records.

Mobile Plant Fitter - Norfolk / Mildenhall

£19.00 - £24.00 per hour + Overtime

NEOS Engineering are recruiting for an established construction machinery business looking to add an experienced Mobile Plant Fitter to their engineering team, covering Norfolk, Mildenhall and the surrounding areas.

This is a hands-on field-based role working primarily on a modern fleet of excavators, telehandlers, rollers and associated construction plant.

The Role

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on construction plant.

About You
