Job summary

A&G Resourcing Ltd is recruiting a Workshop Operative for a client in Reading. This temporary ongoing role starts immediately and offers training to develop skills in furniture manufacture for hospitality and leisure sectors.

You will work Monday to Friday, 06:00 to 16:00, with potential weekend shifts at £19.06 per hour. The role involves assembling, cutting, and building wooden products to high standards while maintaining a safe, clean workspace.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail is required.
• Basic DIY skills are desirable.
• Experience with woodwork is a plus but training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, prepare, and build wooden products to high standards.
• Operate various machines and tools to cut, prepare, and assemble components.
• Ensure work meets quality standards and identify issues, proposing solutions.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment by cleaning work areas, machines and equipment.
• Report equipment or facility issues promptly.
• Adhere to safety protocols including PPE usage.

We are currently seeking a Workshop Operative for our client based in Reading. This is a Temporary Ongoing position with an immediate start, offering a fantastic chance to develop your skills and grow within the company.

Details:

• Hours: Monday to Friday, 06:00 am - 16:00 pm
• Pay Rate: £12.71ph + holiday allowance
• £19.06/h weekends
