Job summary

CDM Recruitment is seeking an experienced Workshop Supervisor for Edinburgh to lead a team of workshop and mobile engineers. You will coordinate day-to-day operations, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Key responsibilities include planning workloads, overseeing maintenance and airside responses, and maintaining health and safety, quality and customer service standards. The role may involve on-call duties and deputising for the Operations Manager when needed.

Qualifications

• Supervisory or team leadership experience essential.
• Background in vehicle maintenance, logistics or a similar operational environment.
• LGV/HGV Level 3 Motor Vehicle Maintenance qualification is essential.
• Strong understanding of health & safety and operational compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a team of 5-10 workshop and mobile engineers.
• Plan and allocate workloads to meet productivity and service targets.
• Oversee maintenance, repairs and airside responses.
• Ensure high standards of health & safety, quality and customer service.
• Conduct quality checks and support team development.
• Manage tooling, equipment and compliance records.
• Support performance, attendance and disciplinary processes.
• Deputise for the Operations Manager when required.
