Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Workshop Mechanic for shore-based work in Aberdeen. This role focuses on servicing and repairing fast rescue craft and associated deck equipment, with extensive overtime and excellent holiday allowance.

You’ll join a team supporting the UK offshore fleet and have access to ongoing training and internal promotion. A time-served mechanic with a full driving licence is preferred.

Qualifications

• Time-served mechanic with relevant background in cars, agricultural or HGV.
• Full driving licence is required.

• Repair outboard and inboard diesel and petrol Fast Rescue Craft
• Ensure shipboard mechanical systems are operated and maintained safely and efficiently

Are you a mechanic from a car, agricultural or HGV background looking for a land-based role to support maintaining the largest wholly UK-owned fleet engaged in the UK’s offshore industry with their planned maintenance?
