Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is seeking a Workshop Manager based in Andover to lead a small team in a busy aftersales service workshop, delivering repairs and refurbishment of specialist machinery. This is a Monday to Friday role with a hands-on approach and strong emphasis on safety and records. You will oversee service, maintenance and diagnostics for agricultural/plant equipment, with opportunities for progression and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum hands-on mechanical service and maintenance background.
• Experience leading a small, dedicated team in a workshop setting.
• Ability to manage repairs, servicing, and refurbishment of machinery.

In this role you will own the day-to-day running of a busy aftersales service workshop, where you will be delivering repairs and servicing, alongside the refurbishment of traded-in, used machines. This is a hands-on role: you'll be on the tools alongside the team as much as managing them.

The ideal candidate will have experience in the service & maintenance of agricultural, REME, construction, plant (or similar) machinery & also be able to motivate and lead a small, passionate & high performing team.

The Role:

• Workshop Manager - Site based in Andover
• Hands on role + workshop operations duties & supervision of a small team
• Service, Maintenance, repair, diagnostics & refurbishment of specialist machinery
• Health & Safety, Maintaining workshop records, QC/PDI inspections etc.

The Person:

• Mechanical service & maintenance background with leadership / managerial experience in a similar role
• Transferable industries, REME, Plant, Construction, agricultural, mobile, service, and heavy lifting machinery / equipment etc.
