Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Workshop Manager / Supervisor (Plant/Agricultural) in Andover, a day-based Monday to Friday role with a salary of £47,000 - £50,000 plus holiday and pension. You will lead a small team in a busy aftersales workshop, hands-on on machinery alongside management responsibilities.

The role focuses on service, maintenance and refurbishment of specialist equipment, with health and safety, workshop records and QC/PDI inspections forming part of your day-to-day

Qualifications

• Mechanical service & maintenance background with leadership / managerial experience in a similar role.
• Experience in service, maintenance or repair of plant/agricultural machinery or similar.
• Willingness to lead and motivate a small, high performing workshop team.
• Live commutable to Andover.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintenance, repair, diagnostics and refurbishment of specialist machinery.
• Health & safety, maintaining workshop records, QC/PDI inspections etc.
• Hands-on role with supervision of a small team and day-to-day workshop operations.
• Site-based responsibilities in Andover with a focus on customer service excellence.

In this role you will own the day-to-day running of a busy aftersales service workshop, where you will be delivering repairs and servicing, alongside the refurbishment of traded-in, used machines. This is a hands-on role: you'll be on the tools alongside the team as much as managing them.

The ideal candidate will have experience in the service & maintenance of agricultural, REME, construction, plant (or similar) machinery & also be able to motivate and lead a small, passionate & high performing team.
