Simpsons Škoda in Preston invites you to a Service Technician role with Volkswagen Group training, providing a clear progression from Service Technician to Diagnostic Technician and Master Technician, with salary increases at each accreditation milestone.

Earn up to £40,000 with a £2,000 joining bonus and Volkswagen Group Academy training, plus 22 days' holiday and a pension. This is a full-time, permanent role within a respected family-owned retailer.

Qualifications

• A time-served Vehicle Technician with relevant practical workshop experience.
• A current MOT Tester qualification.
• A valid full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service, maintain and repair customer vehicles to the highest standards.
• Carry out routine maintenance, warranty work and manufacturer-approved repairs.
• Conduct MOT tests in line with current regulations and company procedures.
• Use diagnostic equipment and technical information to identify and resolve vehicle faults.
• Keep up to date with Volkswagen Group technical bulletins, repair procedures and manufacturer training.
• Complete workshop documentation and job records accurately.
• Maintain excellent safety, quality and customer service standards.
• Keep your working area professional, organised, clean and safe.
