Job summary

Pioneer Selection are seeking an experienced Workshop Machinist for a market-leading industrial business in the West Bromwich area. This hands-on role focuses on turning, milling, drilling and operating lathes and CNC machines in a busy workshop.

The ideal candidate will have solid mechanical engineering experience and a background in repair and refurbishment, with a proactive, hands-on approach to work. Full training provided and regular overtime available.

Qualifications

Hands-on experience as a Mechanical Machinist is essential.
Experience with turning, milling, drilling, lathes, CNC Machines.
Mechanical Engineering experience is required.

Responsibilities

Machining components in the workshop using turning, milling and drilling equipment.
Set up, adjust and operate lathes and CNC machines.
Carry out repairs and refurbishment of mechanical parts as required.
Support with routine maintenance and quality checks in the workshop.

Salary: £31,000

Shift: Monday to Friday - 39 Hour Week

We're looking for an experienced Mechanical Machinist / Workshop Engineer to join our team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong practical machining experience and a background in mechanical engineering, repair and refurbishment.
