Job description

Job Role: Workshop Joiner
Location: Antrim
Hours: Monday to Thursday - 07.00am to 5:30pm, Friday - 07:00-12:00pm
Pay rate: up to £16 per hour, dependent on experience


Your Role:

  1. Producing high-quality products using various hand and mechanised tools.
  2. Production and assembly of wood and metal products.
  3. Ability to interpret and read workshop/design drawings.
  4. Ensure that quality standards are met and maintained.
  5. Ensure that delivery dates for all items produced are met and maintained.
  6. Adhere to all relevant environmental and health & safety regulations and procedures.

You will have:

  1. Post apprenticeship experience of high-quality carpentry and joinery.
  2. Previous experience within joinery gained within a manufacturing or shop fitting environment.
  3. Ability to interpret and read workshop/design drawings.
  4. Ability to work with minimum instruction in terms of cutting and building up box section components.
  5. Ability to set up work pieces and tools.
  6. Process work effectively and produce quality workmanship.
