Workshop Fitter Fabricator Machinist

Swindon, Wiltshire

Salary Negotiable Depending on Experience

Our well-established client is looking for an enthusiastic, motivated Workshop Technician to join their growing team!

Workshop Fitter Fabricator Machinist Role and Responsibilities:
  • Carry out welding and production duties
  • TIG welding on stainless steel and other materials
  • Milling and Turning duties on manual machines and some CNC
  • Modifying, fitting, and setting parts and components
  • Operating a range of hand and power tools, including drills, grinders, saws etc.
  • Sheet metal work and fabrication
  • Reading and working from engineering drawings (3rd angle, 2D, Solid Model) to create components to tight tolerances and specification
  • Pressure testing of equipment (Can be trained)
The Ideal Workshop Fitter Fabricator Machinist Will:
  • Have experience with TIG Welding, working with Stainless Steel
  • Be proficient at reading and working from engineering drawings
  • Have experience with machining and fabrication
  • Be Apprentice Trained within fabrication and machining
Core Working Hours and Details:
  • Monday – Thursday 08:30 – 17:00
  • Friday 08:30 – 16:00
  • Flexible working hours
  • 23 days holiday + bank holidays
