Job summary

Regional Recruitment is seeking an experienced Site Engineer for an immediate start based in Glasgow. The role involves servicing and maintaining on-site machinery, mobile plant and HGVs, with a focus on safety and compliance.

Permanent, full-time position with overtime opportunities, training and development, and a pension scheme. Applicants should have NVQ or equivalent, own tools, and a willingness to learn and work overtime, including weekends if required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, repairs and maintenance of on-site machinery.

Site Engineer Wanted - Immediate Start!

Glasgow | £40K-£50K (DOE) + OT

Essential:

• Proven mechanical experience and relevant qualifications (NVQ's or equivalent)
• High awareness of health, safety and environmental requirements
• Willingness to learn new skills and attend training when required
• Own tools

Desirable:

• Previous experience in the HGV or waste management sector
• Full UK driving license

Roles & Responsibilities

• Carry out regular servicing, repairs and maintenance of on site machinery
• Carry out servicing, repairs and maintenance of on site mobile plant, as well as HGV's and associated equipment
• Report and liase with suppliers and compare pricing where required
• Ensure all work is completed in line with health, safety and environmental standards

Requirements

As a Site Engineer, you will also be expected to:

• Have flexibility to work overtime and if required weekends
