Job summary

NEOS Engineering in Rotherham is seeking a Workshop Engineer to service, repair and overhaul specialist piling and foundation equipment in a clean, modern workshop.

The role offers world-class manufacturer training, including a 2–3 week programme in Germany, and a clear path to long-term career progression with a growing engineering business. You will diagnose mechanical faults and carry out accurate repairs, supported by on-the-job training.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Workshop Engineer or similar in heavy plant/equipment.
• Strong mechanical knowledge of gearboxes, engines, transmissions and hydraulics.
• Able to work independently with a proactive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Service, repair and overhaul specialist piling and foundation equipment.
• Strip, inspect and rebuild gearboxes, transmissions and engines.
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical faults.
• Carry out workshop-based repairs to a high standard.
• Work independently while maintaining health & safety standards.
• Attend manufacturer training to develop technical expertise.
