Job summary

NEOS Engineering are recruiting a Workshop Engineer to join their Swindon depot. You will service, maintain and repair plant and construction machinery from the workshop, performing routine inspections and preparing equipment for hire.

The role requires mechanical, hydraulic and electrical fault finding, a strong commitment to safety, and a background in plant hire or heavy engineering. Permanent position with training and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in workshop engineering, plant maintenance or heavy equipment preferred.
• Strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical fault-finding skills.
• Ability to service, repair and prepare equipment for hire.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair plant and construction machinery.
• Mechanical, hydraulic and electrical fault finding.
• Carry out routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Prepare equipment for hire.
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs to minimise downtime.
