Job description

Logisnext UK Ltd have an exciting opportunity for an Engineer/Mechanic to join the friendly Workshop in Thame, Oxfordshire. Working on a full-time, permanent basis. Hours 8.00am - 4.30pm Monday to Friday.

Logisnext UK Ltd are the manufacturer and supplier of Mitsubishi Forklift Trucks, the world’s fifth-largest industrial truck manufacturer, supplying a complete range of electric, gas and diesel operated forklift trucks to our customers.

Requirements

You will have the following duties and responsibilities:

  1. Performing repairs, servicing and preventative maintenance of forklift truck equipment.
  2. Perform mechanical, hydraulic and electrical fault diagnosis carrying out subsequent repairs in a time and cost-effective manner.
  3. Completion of documentation to company standards.

If you have worked with material handling products before this will be a bonus, however, full, in-depth training will be provided so we are open to considering candidates from other backgrounds such as: Automotive, Agricultural, REME, Construction Equipment, PSV, HGV, LGV or Plant.

Our ideal Engineer/Mechanic will be an analytical thinker who produces highly precise, accurate work, is well organised and works well with others as well as the ability to work on their own initiative. We are looking for someone who has:

  1. In-depth mechanical experience including strong diagnosis and repair skills.
  2. Excellent servicing and fault-finding skills.
  3. Good electrical knowledge.
  4. Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
  5. A professional and helpful attitude to work.
  6. Experience of hydraulics and electrical equipment an advantage, however training will be provided as required.
  7. The ability to manage and prioritise workloads.
