Job role: Service Engineer (Workshop & Mobile)
Salary: £33,000-£38,000 per annum (OTE £40,000+)
Location: Northampton, Northamptonshire
Hours: 8:00-16:30 Monday to Friday – flexibility required due to nationwide and international travel
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

The Role:

• This role is 60% electromechanical engineering based, 40% office-based dealing with warranty and dealer support
• Handling customer aftersales enquiries and offer support where required
• Travel to customer sites both nationwide and internationally where required to install, repair and maintain mechanical and electrical agricultural/horticultural equipment.
• When based at the depot, you may be asked to carry out PDI checks on company equipment, as well as carry out servicing and maintenance on shot blasting and paint spraying equipment.
• Occasional overnight stays – accommodation and food paid for when staying away

The Requirements:

• Previous mechanical and electrical experience working in a service environment (essential)
• Proven Mechanical and Electrical fault-finding capabilities (essential)
• Happy with both field-based and office-based work (essential)
• Previous Agricultural and/or Horticultural industry experience (advantageous)
• Relevant Electrical/Mechanical Qualifications (City & Guilds/NVQs) – Advantageous
• Happy with nationwide / international travel and occasional overnight stays
• Full UK Drivers Licence required
