Job summary

Hydro International is seeking a hands-on Workshop Engineer for its Nottingham operation. You will support workshop, stores and yard activities, ensuring orders are processed safely, accurately and on time, while collaborating with engineering and supply chain teams to uphold high standards.

The role emphasizes practical problem-solving, strong IT and forklift experience, and a proactive, safety-first mindset within a global water-management context.

Qualifications

• Workshop, stores or warehouse experience.
• A valid UK driving licence.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Forklift licence and water industry experience would be advantageous.

Reporting to the Deputy Operations Manager, you'll be responsible for keeping workshop operations running efficiently, supporting stock and stores management, maintaining equipment, and ensuring customer orders are processed safely, accurately and on time. You'll work closely with operational, engineering and supply chain teams to deliver excellent service and maintain high standards across the workshop. What You'll Be Doing
