Job summary
Demob Job Ltd is seeking a Workshop Electronics Engineer for a well established engineering business based in Poulton le Fylde. You will diagnose, repair and test specialist electronic equipment, and provide technical support to installations and projects.
The role is primarily workshop based with occasional travel to customer sites. A strong electronics background, fault finding skills and experience with circuit boards and power supplies are essential; training will be provided.
Qualifications
- Minimum Level 3 qualification in Electronics, Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Strong fault finding and diagnostic capabilities.
- Experience with electronic systems, circuit boards and power supplies.
- Ability to install, configure and update software.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, fault find and repair specialist electronic equipment.
- Test, inspect and commission equipment prior to delivery.
- Provide telephone and remote technical support to customers.
- Support installations, upgrades and technical projects as required.
- Participate in out of hours technical support rota after training.
