Job summary

Vertu Hyundai Silverlink in Newcastle upon Tyne is seeking a Workshop Controller to lead a busy workshop team. You will allocate tasks to Vehicle Technicians, plan workloads and monitor time and resources to maximise productivity and meet deadlines.

The ideal candidate will have motor trade experience and a valid UK driving licence, with excellent communication skills. This is a frontline, hands-on leadership role within our dealership network.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the Motor Trade, Workshop or Senior Technician background.
• Full, valid UK driving licence.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assign work to Vehicle Technicians to ensure smooth running of the workshop.
• Plan incoming work and manage the time and resources of your team.
• Ensure productivity and deadlines are met.
