• Basic Salary: £34,840
• OTE: £39,040

Our client is a successful Main Dealer in York seeking a Workshop Controller to join their team. It is essential that you have previous experience of working within the Motor Trade. Senior Technicians and Service Advisors who have some workshop control experience are encouraged to apply.

The Successful Workshop Controller will get:

• A basic salary of £34,840.
• Competitive bonus structure giving you an OTE of £39,040.
• Manufacturer training and genuine progression opportunities.

For this Workshop Controller role you will be:

• Assigning work to Vehicle Technicians to ensure the smooth running of the workshop.
• The role will involve ensuring all incoming work is planned as well as managing the time and resources of your team.
• You will assign a team of Technicians to tasks, ensuring productivity is maximised and that deadlines are adhered to at all times.

For this Workshop Controller role you will need:

• Previous experience of working within the Motor Trade, preferably having a Service Advisor or Senior Technician background.
• Have an enviable and proven track record of performance.
• You will have exceptional communication skills
• Full valid UK driving licence.
• The ability and willingness to lead a busy workshop team and to be able to maximise performance.
