Evans Halshaw Hyundai in Doncaster is seeking a Workshop Controller to join our growing team. You will work closely with the Service Reception and Parts Teams to keep work flowing and ensure high service standards.

The ideal candidate has proven experience in a motor service department, strong knowledge of health and safety, and excellent planning, communication, and customer-focused approach. We offer competitive pay, pension, and generous holiday.

• Proven experience within a service department in the motor industry.
• Good understanding of systems and processes operated in this environment.
• Strong knowledge of Health and Safety.
• Confident dealing with people at all levels and building rapport.
• Excellent planning and organisational skills.
• Comfortable negotiating and influencing situations.
• Lead by example to deliver an outstanding customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining progress information against job allocation and ensure paperwork is completed and passed to relevant teams.
• Assist and advise team members in dealing with technical and job-related problems.
• Coach the workshop apprentices as required.
• Ensure the customer comes first.

What does the role of Workshop Controller involve?

• Assist in maintaining progress information against job allocation ensure all appropriate paperwork is completed to standard and passed on to the relevant teams
• Assist and advise team members in dealing with technical and job-related problems
• Coach the workshop apprentices as and when required
• Ensure the customer comes first

What do you need to succeed as a Workshop Controller?

• Proven experience within a service department in the motor industry
