Waux Ltd is a family business in Borough Green, Kent engaged in manufacturing anti-slip walkways and structures for the rail, marin and aquaculture industries.

Job Responsibilities:

• Working in a team or on own on fabricating structures, reporting to the operations manager.
• Fabrication will involve cutting GRP sheets and profiles (using wall saw, wet cut saw, chop saw), drilling, painting, and assembling using rivets and bolts.
• Assisting with loading/unloading of lorries.
• Assisting with stock control.
• Keeping work-place safe, clean and tidy.
• Operating fork lift truck (training will be given).

Job Requirements:

• We require a workshop operative to join team in making structures (platforms, stairs etc) in GRP (fibreglass).
• Carpentry skills required.
• Ability to work from drawings.
