An display and exhibition company near Chelmsford are looking for a trainee workshop carpenter to join their busy team. This is a great opportunity to learn in a hands on environment and develop a rewarding career.

Working hours will be Monday to Friday 08:00-16:30. Starting salary will be between £21,000-£24,000 depending on age, with potential for progression short and long term.

Duties will include:

• Building/refurbishing exhibition stands
• Bench work
• Other 'junior' duties, such as general housekeeping
• Working with tools and equipment
• Assisting with fitting when needed

As you are learning you will progress into a multi skilled carpenter, and will be able to go abroad to fit stands on site!

Experience required:

• Previous woodwork, carpentry or joinery experience
• Be able to use hand/power tools
• Working from drawings and schematics
• An interest in joinery or woodworking
• Be able to get stuck in to a variety of different tasks
