A leading company in wheelchair refurbishment is seeking a Workshop/Bench Operative to ensure high standards of service. The role involves decontamination, repair, and maintenance of equipment while adhering to health and safety regulations. Candidates should possess general workshop and basic mechanical knowledge. Job purpose of the Workshop/Bench Operative:
To enable the Company to achieve the agreed contractual standard of service required, by working as part of a team responsible for the wheelchair refurbishment. To manage stock and equipment to a high standard and maximising availability of stock to support Service Engineers delivering First Time Fixes wherever possible. Once fully trained in line with depot multi-skilling be available to support field services to cover holidays and sick.
