North Yorkshire Councils is seeking a proactive Workplace Supervisor to support our Commercial, Property and Procurement team across Harrogate and Skipton. You will inspect council buildings, ensure safety and compliance, and manage basic maintenance, acting as a trusted decision-maker for improving workplaces.
Travel across sites is required; you will liaise with internal customers and contractors to meet workplace needs, negotiate changes, and contribute to safer, more efficient environments.
We’re looking for a proactive, hands-on individual to join us as aWorkplace Supervisorwithin our Commercial, Property, and Procurement team.
As part of the role, you’ll be out and about across a wide and varied property portfolio in theHarrogate and Skipton area, making sure our buildings are safe, compliant, and ready to support vital public services. The council buildings include a variety of buildings from libraries to offices.
Whether it’s handling working with service on their accommodation /workplace requirements,basic maintenance, ensuring health and safety standards, or responding to the occasional out-of-hours call, you’ll be trusted to take ownership and make decisions that matter.
