A leading financial services firm in Bristol is seeking a professional to provide bespoke pension advice and support clients in achieving their financial goals. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of pension arrangements and strong communication skills. Qualifications

• Provide regulated bespoke pension advice to group pension members.

• Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Support training/meetings at client premises and represent Titan professionally at events.

Responsibilities

• Provide regulated bespoke pension advice to group pension members new and existing.
• Provide group pension transfer advice when needed.
• Provide specialist/professional advice and recommendations to new and existing members to support informed decision making.
• Undertake site visits as and when needed.
• Follow up on potential leads for member advice from corporate consultants.
• Create effective presentations to group pensions members, to be delivered onsite or remotely.
• Keep CPD, IO and Compliance up to date.
• Contribute to team target where possible
• Develop and maintain effective and proactive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Support training/meetings at client or external premises. Representing Titan professionally at events.
• Actively support and engage with business projects as required to meet client needs and business objectives.
• Manage own time effectively to achieve objectives and key milestones agreed, together with planning and completing personal development activity.
• Maintain and develop own technical and regulatory knowledge.
• Take opportunities, both reactive and proactive to assist with the development additional services and support for members.
• Perform ad hoc tasks as required, bearing in mind TCF and the needs of the business at all times.

Requirements

• Excellent knowledge of all types of pensions arrangements
• To highlight to your line manager procedures & processes that do not adhere to the principles of TCF/RCR and to put forward suggestions that improve the TCF/RCR practices within the department
• Written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external partners/ professionals.
• Ability to understand, meet and exceed customer expectations.
• Ability to liaise with colleagues, clients and IFAs in an articulate and pleasant manner.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage own workload.
• Problem solving skills with the ability to exercise high levels of initiative to devise and implement workable solutions.
• Ability to plan, manage and maximise use of own time and effectiveness
• Diploma in Financial Planning (or equivalent)
• Good technical knowledge
• Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel and Databases
