The University of Sheffield is seeking a Workplace Curriculum Manager to lead the AMRC Training Centre’s apprenticeship coaching programme. You will ensure coaching complies with funding rules and Ofsted's framework, and shape the training centre's strategic direction.
You will manage a team of workplace coaches, develop curricula, build employer partnerships and oversee quality assurance to deliver high-quality education for engineers and manufacturers.

The Workplace Curriculum Manager has overall management responsibility for the workplace coaching of the AMRC Training Centre's apprentices. You will be accountable for ensuring that workplace coaching at the AMRC Training Centre complies with the funding rules stipulated by funding bodies, and meets the requirements of Ofsted's Education Inspection Framework. You will be an active member of the Centre's management team who are instrumental in shaping and influencing the Training Centre's strategic direction. You will devise objectives, plans and strategies to ensure that the AMRC Training Centre's apprenticeship curricula in manufacturing and engineering are of the highest quality and meet the needs of manufacturing sectors, both regionally and nationally, employers and apprentices. You will be qualified to degree level, with relevant industry experience of engineering or manufacturing, a relevant teaching qualification and experience of teaching and coaching, and of managing teams.
