Job summary

DWF is seeking a Workplace and Front of House Assistant to be the first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders in our London office. The role covers greeting guests, managing meeting rooms, mail handling and general office support in a fully office-based environment.

The ideal candidate will be highly organised, personable and capable of delivering excellent customer service in a busy setting, with rota-based hours and a commitment to health and safety.

Qualifications

  • Previous Front of House experience in a corporate or office setting.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Organised and able to work under pressure while maintaining high standards.

Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer service to external and internal customers.
  • Greet guests, manage meeting rooms, and handle mail.
  • Liaise with third-party cleaning and maintenance providers.
  • Perform daily floor walks and general facilities upkeep.
  • Ensure health and safety compliance and address hazards.
  • Respond to general queries with a can-do attitude.

Your role will involve greeting guests, managing meeting rooms, stock control, handling both incoming and outgoing mail, dealing with POs, basic office maintenance/facilities management and other general queries.

This is an exciting role within an adapting work environment. It will be both challenging and rewarding and will allow you to gain and develop a broad variety of different skills.

The working hours for this role are either 7:30am - 4:30pm, 8:00am - 5:00pm, 9.00am to 6.00pm on a rota basis and will be fully office based.

Responsibilities
  • Ownership for the delivery of outstanding customer service at all times to both external and internal customers. Providing a first-class service with a "can do" attitude at all times.
  • Develop an understanding of all mail room services to include the processing and distribution of emails and physical inbound/outbound mail
  • Liaise with 3rd party service providers to ensure hygienic cleaning/monitoring/reporting is carried out.
  • Liaise with third party suppliers regarding both planned and reactive maintenance.
  • Complete daily floor walk checks and activities as well as providing general maintenance to a high standard
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular safety checks and address any potential hazards.

Essential
  • Previous experience in a Front of House, Customer Service and Workplace Facilities role.
  • Be highly organised and be able to remain calm and perform well under pressure.
  • Maintains high standards of performance by identifying and creating self-development opportunities.
  • Excellent Customer Service is essential
  • Communication skills both verbal and written are essential for this role.
  • A high level of computer literacy is essential.
Desirable
  • Previous experience in a corporate/office environment.
