Job summary

Hoardtek in Leeds is seeking an experienced and hands-on Yard Foreman to oversee the daily operations of our busy yard. You will lead a small team, ensure materials and equipment are organized and dispatched efficiently, and uphold health and safety standards in a 6:00am to 7:00pm work window.

The role requires previous scaffolding yard experience, strong organisational skills, and the ability to manage yard staff while remaining actively involved in day-to-day yard activities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily running of the yard, ensuring materials and equipment are organised, maintained and ready for use

• Ensure all equipment is prepared, checked and dispatched efficiently
• Maintain safe working practices and ensure the yard operates in line with health and safety requirements

Working Yard Foreman

H.T. Scaffolding Systems Ltd and Hoardtek specialise in Tube and Fitting scaffolding, Layher System scaffolding and freestanding PVC hoarding solutions, delivering safe and compliant access systems across a wide range of commercial and construction projects.

We are now looking to recruit an experienced and hands‑on Yard Manager / Yard Foreman to oversee the daily operations of our busy yard in Leeds.

This is a key operational role within the business, responsible for ensuring the yard runs efficiently, equipment is organised and ready for dispatch, and staff are effectively managed to support project requirements.

The successful candidate will bring strong scaffolding yard experience, excellent organisation skills, and the ability to lead a small team while remaining actively involved in day-to-day yard activities.

Working Hours

The yard operates Monday to Friday between 6:00am and 7:00pm, with shifts expected to be approximately 10 hours within these operating hours (exact shift pattern to be agreed).
