Job summary

H.T.Scaffolding Systems Ltd in Leeds is seeking an experienced Yard Foreman to oversee daily yard operations, ensure equipment is ready for dispatch and lead a small team to support project requirements.

The ideal candidate will have strong scaffolding yard experience, excellent organisation and the ability to actively manage yard activities on a day-to-day basis in a busy yard environment.

Qualifications

• Previous scaffolding yard experience (essential).
• Experience supervising or managing yard or depot teams.
• Proactive, hands-on approach with strong organisational skills.
• Ability to lead by example and keep operations running smoothly.
• Good communication and team management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily running of the yard, ensuring materials and equipment are organised, maintained and ready for use.
• Manage and supervise a team of up to 6 yard staff
• Plan and manage staff rotas, attendance and absence
• Ensure all equipment is prepared, checked and dispatched efficiently; maintain safe working practices and ensure compliance with health and safety requirements
• Work closely with management to ensure operational efficiency and smooth workflow
