Job summary

EA Associates are working with an established Painting & Decorating contractor in Cambridge who are looking to appoint an experienced Painting Supervisor / Contracts Supervisor to join their growing team.

You will oversee multiple painting projects, coordinate labour, materials and subcontractors, and ensure works are delivered safely, on time and to a high standard, with a clear path to Contracts Management.

Qualifications

• Experience in Painting & Decorating essential.
• Experience as Painting Supervisor, Site Supervisor or Contracts Supervisor preferred.
• Strong understanding of painting processes and site operations.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Supervise painting and decorating operatives across multiple sites.
• Coordinate labour, materials and subcontractors.
• Monitor progress, quality and programme requirements.
• Liaise with clients, site management and other trades.
• Ensure health & safety standards are maintained.
• Support Contracts Managers with day-to-day delivery of projects.
• Attend site meetings and provide regular progress updates.

The Role

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience within the Painting & Decorating industry is essential.
• Experience as a Painting Supervisor, Site Supervisor, Contracts Supervisor or similar.
• Strong understanding of painting and decorating processes and site operations.

• Ability to manage operatives and coordinate works across multiple projects.
• Ambition to develop into a Contracts Management position.
• Full UK driving licence.
