Streamline Search Ltd. is seeking a Working Electrical Supervisor in Leatherhead to oversee electrical works across commercial and domestic properties, while remaining hands-on.

The role combines supervising operatives with ensuring NICEIC compliance and adherence to IET BS 7671. The ideal candidate holds NVQ 3 in Electrical Installation, 18th Edition, and 2391, with prior NICEIC Supervisory experience and a full UK driving licence.

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent recognised electrical qualification.
• Current 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification (City & Guilds 2382 or equivalent).
• Inspection and Testing qualification (City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent).
• Holds the appropriate qualifications, technical knowledge and experience to fulfil the NICEIC Qualifying Supervisor requirements.

Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 (DOE)
Hours: Mon - Friday (Varied start times due to project needs)

Our client is an established property maintenance and facilities management business operating across London and the Southeast, delivering electrical installation, maintenance and repair services across commercial and domestic properties.

Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Working Electrical Supervisor / NICEIC Qualifying Supervisor. This is a hands‑on role combining electrical works with responsibility for supervising operatives, providing technical guidance and overseeing the company's NICEIC compliance requirements.

Working Electrical Supervisor - Position Overview

• Oversee and coordinate day-to-day electrical works across a range of commercial and domestic properties.
• Remain hands‑on with electrical installation, maintenance, repairs and associated works.
• Act as the company's NICEIC Qualifying Supervisor, taking responsibility for relevant technical standards, compliance and certification requirements.
• Ensure electrical works are carried out in accordance with NICEIC requirements, current IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) and relevant industry standards.
• Provide guidance, support and supervision to electricians and other electrical operatives.
• Lead by example, maintaining high standards of workmanship and ensuring works are completed efficiently.

Working Electrical Supervisor - Position Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent recognised electrical qualification.
• Current 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification (City & Guilds 2382 or equivalent).
• Inspection and Testing qualification (City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent).
• Holds the appropriate qualifications, technical knowledge and experience to fulfil the company's NICEIC Qualifying Supervisor requirements.
• Previous NICEIC Qualifying Supervisor experience would be highly advantageous.
• Strong understanding of NICEIC requirements, electrical compliance and certification procedures.
• Previous experience in a supervisory, team‑leading or senior electrical position.
• Strong hands‑on experience across electrical installation, maintenance and repairs.
• Experience carrying out EICRs, electrical inspections, testing and fault finding.
• Good working knowledge of commercial electrical systems and building services.
• Ability to oversee and coordinate electrical operatives whilst remaining actively involved in practical electrical works.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage workloads and maintain high standards of workmanship.
• A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of an established team.
• Full UK driving licence.
