Job summary

Think Recruitment is seeking a Working Assistant Site Manager / Carpenter for a Newark conversion project. You will support the Site Manager, oversee day-to-day site operations and be hands-on with carpentry where required, on a 24-apartment residential conversion worth £1.5m.

The role involves coordinating trades, maintaining safety standards, and ensuring works progress to programme on a busy site in Newark.

Qualifications

• Carpentry / multi-trade background.
• Residential refurbishment or conversion experience.
• SSSTS or SMSTS certification required.
• CSCS card held.
• Ability to manage trades and site operations.
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist Site Manager with day-to-day running of the project.
• Take responsibility for the site in the Site Manager's absence.
• Coordinate subcontractors and trades.
• Keep works progressing to programme.

Role: Working Assistant Site Manager / Carpenter

We're looking for a Carpenter / Multi-Tradesman with SSSTS or SMSTS to join a 1.5m residential conversion project in Newark.

The project involves converting an existing building into 24 apartments. You'll work alongside the Site Manager and take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the site when they're not present, so this would suit someone looking to take the next step into an Assistant Site Manager position while still being hands-on.

The Role

• Assisting the Site Manager with the day-to-day running of the project
• Taking responsibility for the site when the Site Manager is away
