Job summary

Think Recruitment is seeking a Carpenter / Multi-Tradesman in Newark to support a 1.5m conversion project converting a building into 24 apartments. You will work alongside the Site Manager and step in on site leadership while staying hands-on with carpentry tasks.

Requirements include a carpentry/multi-trade background, refurbishment or residential experience, SSSTS or SMSTS, and a CSCS card. The role involves coordinating trades and ensuring safety and programme adherence on site.

Qualifications

• Carpentry/multi-trade background.
• Experience in refurbishment or residential conversions.
• SSSTS or SMSTS required.
• CSCS card required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Site Manager with day-to-day running of the project.
• Take responsibility for the site when the Site Manager is away.
• Coordinate subcontractors and trades.
• Keep works progressing to programme.
• Maintain health & safety and site standards.
• Carry out hands-on carpentry / multi-trade work where required.
• Manage deliveries, materials and general site organisation.
