Hywel Dda University Health Board is seeking a Senior Workforce professional to provide generalist operational workforce support and advice to managers and staff across our services in Carmarthenshire and surrounding areas.
The role involves supporting sickness absence management, employee relations processes, contracts guidance, and staying updated on NHS terms and employment law. You will contribute to the Workforce team’s objectives and participate in project work as needed.
This post is a Fixed Term/Secondment for 10 months until 08/06/27 due to secondment cover.

The post plays an integral part in the Operational Workforce team, providing generalist operational workforce advice to managers and staff, ensuring services are effectively supported. It is required to provide professional generalist workforce support, within the remit of policies and procedures, current employment law and generalist best practice.
The post holder will also provide support to the Workforce team and the different roles that comprise it, contributing to the delivery of the Department’s objectives. This is an ideal opportunity to join a friendly and supportive team where you can apply and develop your knowledge and skills.
