Hywel Dda University Health Board is seeking a Band 3 Nursing Support Worker to join the Respiratory & Endocrine team. The role focuses on delivering compassionate, patient-centred care and supporting the multidisciplinary team to promote recovery and safe discharge.
The post requires Welsh Language Level 1 and will involve diverse shifts including days and nights, with induction to learn new skills and develop professionally in a busy hospital setting.
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Band 3 Nursing SupportWorker to join our fast paced Respiratory & Endocrine team. You will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient-centred care to individuals with various respiratory and endocrine conditions, as well as other general medical conditions and complex discharge needs.
Working as part of the team, you will support registered nurses and other members of the multidisciplinary team to promote recovery and independence, prior to discharge.
There is an opportunity to learn new skills and gain further experience in caring for acutely unwell patients whilst developing professionally within a positive and challenging environment. This role will require you to provide holistic care to patients based on their varying needs, including clinical observations, good communication and clear document.
The unit operates a variety of shift patterns to suit service requirements including days/night rotation.
