The Opportunity

Role Summary:

  • HSF has identified a need for a Workday technical solutions and integrations expert to lead us on our journey of transformation and to manage our scope of our pre-existing Workday integrations and future technical product needs.
  • The successful candidate will work closely with the HR Systems team to help enhance and deliver innovative and practical solutions, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance. Additionally, they will collaborate with relevant teams to improve user experience and ensure that our Workday integrations continue to meet the evolving needs of the business.
  • We have been live with Workday since November 2023, with our current suite of modules including Core HCM, Recruiting, Absence, Talent & Performance, Core & Advanced Compensation, and Peakon. This year we are onboarding Prism.

Key internal relationships:

  • Global HR Systems team
  • Head of HR Operations, West and HR Systems
  • IT teams within department
  • External third-party software vendors of Workday integrated platforms

Key responsibilities:

Your primary responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with the Workday Programme Manager to implement new functionality and AI capabilities.
  • Managing HSF's suite of Workday integrations for seamless global data transfer.
  • Maintaining current integrations, assessing and configuring changes.
  • Designing, developing, and testing new integrations and functionalities.
  • Seeking opportunities to improve processes within our technical infrastructure.
  • Providing technical and strategic expertise on Workday integrations.
  • Advising HR SMT and the global HRIS team on integration requirements.
  • Engaging with stakeholders and vendors to ensure support delivery.
  • Escalating risks and developing workarounds.
  • Reviewing Workday bi-annual releases related to integrations.
  • Managing integration of front-end and complex programming elements.
  • Working with Data governance to ensure HR data is managed securely.
Qualifications, skills, and experience:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience managing and developing Workday Integrations.
  • Experience with Workday Extend, JSON programming preferred.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Proven experience with Workday Integration Cloud and Workday Studio.
  • Expertise in Core Connectors and EIB.
  • Solid knowledge of Workday HCM modules and architecture.
  • Strong reporting skills, including custom reports and calculated fields.
  • Passion for system automation and transformation.
  • Ability to promote best practices and increase technical knowledge.
  • Troubleshooting and resolution skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Knowledge of Windows server environments, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
  • Experience in a matrix-managed environment and supplier management.
  • Awareness of trends in the integration landscape.
  • ITIL certification is desirable but not essential.
