Focus on WD is seeking a Workday Solution Architect to own the platform end-to-end, acting as lead architect and data steward. You will ensure security, governance and trusted HR data as the single source of truth.

You will drive design, implement across modules, and shape the release roadmap, collaborating with Global Head of People Systems and cross-functional teams to maintain stability and scalability.

Formación

• 6+ years of hands-on Workday experience.
• Architect or lead experience (2+ years).
• Solid data governance background and GDPR knowledge.
• Experience with at least one full Workday deployment.

Responsabilidades

• Lead design, configuration and day-to-day running of Workday across modules.
• Translate business needs into sustainable Workday solutions and shape the Workday roadmap.
• Own the tenant strategy and bi-annual release process from assessment to go-live.
• Own the security model including security groups and access reviews.
• Act as data steward for HR data and run data quality frameworks including reconciliation.
• Govern integrations, reporting and third-party configuration and escalation of complex issues.
• Represent Workday architecture in governance forums with stakeholders across functions.

Workday Solution Architect

Are you a Workday expert who cares as much about the data as the design? We’re looking for a Solution Architect to own a Workday platform end to end, as both its lead architect and its data steward. You’ll make sure Workday is secure, well governed and trusted across the business as the single source of truth for people data.

What you’ll do

• Lead the design, configuration and day-to-day running of Workday across all modules, keeping the platform stable, scalable and well controlled.
• Translate business needs into sustainable solutions, and shape the Workday roadmap alongside the Global Head of People Systems.
• Own the tenant strategy and the bi-annual release process, from impact assessment through testing to go-live.
• Own the security model, including security groups, business process policies, segregation of duties and periodic access reviews.
• Act as data steward for HR data. You’ll set data standards and definitions and run data quality frameworks, including HCM-to-Payroll reconciliation.
• Govern integrations, reporting and third-party configuration, and be the escalation point for complex Workday issues.
• Work with People, Payroll, Finance, IT, Internal Audit and external partners, and represent Workday architecture in governance forums.

What you’ll bring

• 6+ years of hands-on Workday experience, including at least 2 years as an Architect or a Lead.
• Broad module knowledge across Core HCM, Security, Advanced Compensation, Benefits, Recruiting, Talent and Learning, plus Workday Payroll.
• Experience of at least one full implementation or major deployment, and of managing Workday releases.
• A solid data governance background, working knowledge of UK GDPR, and confidence with tools such as SQL, Excel or Power BI.
• The autonomy, judgement and communication skills to influence senior leaders and explain technical topics clearly.
